You’re invited to check out new (temporary) street designs in Mosier

The City of Mosier is testing out different ideas for making some of our busiest streets safer for residents and visitors. Check out the new “pop-up” improvements downtown, at US-30 and Washington, and 3rd and Washington.

This week, we are demonstrating how making some simple, yet effective improvements can improve the function and feel of our streets. The paint, signs, and separators are temporary, but we would like to know whether you think they work (or don’t work) in order to make the area safer and more enjoyable for everyone.

The temporary designs are here for one week only, 9/2-9/9:

  • Painted crosswalks
  • Parking
  • Bike parking
  • Signs

Walk, bike, or drive through these areas and let us know what it was like. We also invite you to get involved in this project and to attend future meetings.

Please share your questions and ideas about the demonstration project and the Mosier Transportation System Plan (TSP). You have the option to submit anonymously using this form.
