A Special STR License may be granted in one of two situations.
You are allowed to apply for and obtain a Special STR License if you meet all of the following requirements and fit one of two situations listed below.
- You must operate an STR.
- You are fully paid up on all TLT taxes.
If you meet all the above requirements, see if one of these STR situations matches yours. If so, you can apply for a special license.
First Situation
- You have operated it continuously since BEFORE June 21, 2023.
- All available STR licenses for your neighborhood have been allotted.
NOTE: This Special STR License is renewable until the property changes ownership, unless the license is allowed to lapse or is revoked for any reason.
Second Situation
- You have operated it continuously since BEFORE June 21, 2023.
- You have operated another STR continuously since before June 21, 2023.
NOTE: This Special STR License is renewable until the seven-year amortization period ends in 2031, unless the license is allowed to lapse or is revoked for any reason.
