Special STR License Requirements

Special STR Licenses may be granted in one of two situations.

First Situation

1. You operated as a STR prior to June 21, 2023 on a continuous basis.
2. Your Transient Lodging Tax filings are current and all taxes due are paid in full.
3. There are no licenses available for the neighborhood in which the STR is located.

Second Situation

1. You operated as a STR prior to June 21, 2023 on a continuous basis.
2. You have operated an additional STR continuously since before June 21, 2023.
3. Transient Lodging Tax filings for all STR’s owned are current and taxes due paid in full.

NOTE: This Special STR License is renewable until the seven-year amortization period ends in 2031, unless the license is allowed to lapse or is revoked for any reason.
