A small (2.5 acre) wildfire broke out on Cherry Hill in east Mosier this afternoon. Multiple agencies converged to respond to this emergency.

The current incident status:

  • Forward momentum has been halted and mop up activities have begun. 

This is a reminder to prepare for the fire season ahead of us.
