211 is a free phone-based service that provides information about a wide assortment of services.
For free, customized referrals to child care providers and strategies for finding quality child care in Oregon, you can call 211 on your phone to talk with a representative, Mon.-Fri. from 7am-11pm, and Sat.-Sun. from 8am-8pm. You can also text the keyword “children” to 898211 (TXT211), or email children@211info.org.
If you’d rather search 211’s services for yourself, use the search feature on their website. In the Service Type box, be sure to type only whole words with no space after; the search won’t recognize partial words or words with spaces after them.
