Eastern Oregon Center for Independent Living (EOCIL)

Services: Provides training and support for people with disabilities to live independently.

Location: 400 E Scenic Dr, 3rd Floor, Suite 2382 (in Columbia Gorge Community College), The Dalles. Open by appointment only.

Helping Hands Against Violence

Services: Chrysalis House in Hood River, offers shelter, safety, and supportive services to domestic abuse survivors and their children, for up to 30 days.

Mid-Columbia Community Action Council (MCCAC)

Services: Tiny home shelter, rent assistance, eviction prevention, houseless assistance, shelter transition, supportive housing services for low or no-income veteran households, weatherization, Senior and low-income discount programs

MCCAC’s Pallet Shelter village in The Dalles is open year-round and has 34 beds. It is located at the corner of Bargeway and Terminal Avenue. There is a waiting list, and you have to be actively looking for work. Call 541-980-0855 for more information.

Services: A federally-funded program to help with rental cost and housing assistance.  Housing-related vouchers.
