Mosier City Council Extends State of Emergency to 9/17/20

Wednesday, 6/18/20, City Council voted unanimously to extend Mosier’s State of Emergency until September 17th. Rock Creek Park will remain open to locals from the 97040 zip code with pedestrian access only. City offices and all other Mosier Parks will remain closed to the public, including the Mosier Plateau Trail. Please contact Jayme Bennett, City Recorder at jayme.bennett@cityofmosier.com and Colleen Coleman, City Manager at colleen.coleman@cityofmosier.com for questions regarding City business.

It was a tough decision, but given the recent uptick in Covid-19 cases, Council felt it best to keep the community safe. “We are a tiny community and care about your health and safety,” said the Mayor. “Therefore we have chosen to take special precautions during this uncertain time. Please take good care, wear masks, wash your hands, keep a safe distance, and be kind to one another. “
