Notice of General Election on November 8, 2022

There will be elections for City of Mosier Mayor and three (3) Council positions at the November General Election this year.

The Mayor’s position is for a two-year term. Council members serve four-year terms.

Current Incumbents

  • Mayor: Arlene C. Burns
  • Position #1: Peny Wallace
  • Position #3: Charlie Cannon
  • Position #5: Witt Anderson

If you are interested in participating in City government, petition packets are available at City Hall. Candidates need to file form SEL 101 (obtain from City Hall) and the filing fee of $10, or obtain the signatures of 25 registered voters residing inside Mosier city limits.

Petitions must be filed no later and no later than 1:00 p.m., August 29, 2022 at City Hall.

Excerpt from the 2010 Mosier City Charter

An elective City officer shall be a qualified elector under the State constitution and shall have resided in the City during the twelve months immediately before being elected or appointed to the office.
